The Amboseli National Park is a quite popular park, so it can become busy in the high season. I have only visited it in the off season in May. At that time the grass is high and animals are more hard to spot. There are no rhinos in the park, so you can only find the Big 4. It’s great to see elephants in large herds. At the lake I saw a lot of flamingos. If the weather is good, the park offers a great scenery, as it is close to the Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. Elephants or giraffes with the mountain in the background are are a great photo opportunity and you can get some postcard shots. Unfortunately I was unlucky and the mountain was not visible, but maybe you have the luck on your side.
