Some people like Budapest, others love Budapest, but it’s definitely an amazing city.
The Danube river divides the capital of Hungary into two part. In the past these were two independent cities, Buda and Pest.
Buda is the hilly part on the west side, where you can see among other things the Citadella, Buda castle and the Fisherman’s Bastion.
Pest is the eastern and flatten part. Here you can find the famous Hungarian Parliament Building, the Great Market Hall and the Széchenyi thermal bath.
Needless to say, that on both sides there are a lot more places to discover. In Budapest you will find everything, no matter if you want relaxation, adventure, culture or just good food.
More general information for Budapest and its history can be found on Wikipedia. On the detail sites I will show you several attractions and give you some photo tips.
